ERPI - An all inclusive mobile subscription metric for product development
ERPI stands for “Expected Revenue Per Install”. It a metric that estimates the expected total gross revenue that, on average, a business expects to receive from a single install of an app. For a mobile subscription business, this metric incorporates the percentage of users who start a trial and convert to paying users, and the projected value the company receives over the lifetime of that customer for that subscription product. The benefit of this metric is that it looks at the entire funnel from the first user touchpoint to when they churn out, so a business can play with a variety of scenarios as they look to improve their product. The model’s output lines up perfectly to your customer acquisition cost. This talk will cover how to use this metric to further product development, business strategy, and customer acquisition.
